Dash™, our nifty take on a traditional pestle and mortar, features a reversible bamboo lid with a variety of functions. Not only does it protect the inside of the mortar from dust when being stored, it also includes a deep groove to store the pestle. Turn the lid over to reveal a small chopping surface for preparing ingredients. Making pesto and salsa has never been easier.

- To minimize staining, wash parts by hand immediately after use and allow to air dry.
- Do not soak lid.
- To maintain best condition, oil bamboo regularly with a food-safe mineral oil.
- Ensure lid is fully dry before storing.

Couldn’t be happier
"This is what I have been wanting to buy for a long time. It grinds spices to perfection which is what I have used it for. I’ll use it for pesto in the summer. It’s heavy but not too much , steady enough not to move around while in use. Design is beautiful and timeless."

"I am sure I would love the Dash Pestle and Mortar, but I never received it. Order has been placed with Joseph Joseph directly, oaid for 2 day express delivery with DPD and and it's been over 4 weeks, since I placed the order. I did send 3 emails to JoseJoseph, all three have been completely ignored. And today I randomly got an email asking to review the product I ordered, not received, and been asking for any attention to help me to resolve the problem. So that's my review. Avoid. Non existing customer service is a joke."
