Five-Star Design, Zero-Star Delivery Experience
"I was invited by Joseph Joseph to review my recent purchase. (Order number: 712538) Unfortunately, I am reviewing a delivery experience rather than a product, as the item has never arrived. The order was dispatched via DX. Two delivery attempts were recorded as unsuccessful with the reason “property not accessible. ” Both entries were incorrect. I was present at the property, access is clear and automated, no driver attended, and no calling card was left. Attempts to resolve this directly with DX led only to automated systems, without access to a human agent. Subsequently, DX updated the tracking to state that the parcel was successfully delivered on 20 January to postcode CV23 9JR, which is not my address. I have not received the item, nor has any delivery occurred at my property. In parallel, DX notifications named a driver for delivery, yet no physical delivery ever materialised. Joseph Joseph later advised that courier systems were experiencing overload and that delivery data should be ignored, which unfortunately does not explain how a paid order can be marked as delivered to an unrelated postcode while remaining physically unaccounted for. A follow-up request for a full refund has not yet received a response. At this stage, the product itself may well be excellent. Regrettably, it remains somewhere on the road rather than in my home. As a final note, the carrier confirms the driver name, yet the parcel itself £120 worth of goods, continues its independent journey. When, precisely, should I expect the refund, given that my follow-up email sent yesterday has not yet received a response, while a review request arrived promptly?"
