Details

Spindola™ combines a salad spinner and a colander in one clever, space-saving design. For preparing salads, attach the spindle and suction to the basket, add the food and rinse as normal under the tap. Next fix the colander to the base of the sink with the suction cup and then pump the spindle up and down to rotate the basket and expel excess water. To use as a conventional colander, remove the spindle and suction cup and hold using the side handles. When finished, the spindle and suction cup fit neatly together for easy storage.

  • Clever 2-in-1 design saves precious cupboard space
  • Easy pump-action salad-spinning mechanism
  • Suction cup attaches securely to base of sink
  • Simply remove spindle to use as a conventional colander
  • Dismantles for easy cleaning and storage

Spinner

"It’s very easy to use I am hit or miss in keeping it in one place in the sink but I am using it a lot washing salad and dries better than the kitchen towel I was using."

Karen G. (5/5)

Perfect

"I love this spinning Colander, easy to use and wash up."

Laura Y. (5/5)

Colander

"Dual purpose use as a salad spinner or drive."

Margaret B. (5/5)

Bad customer but good product

"Items did not arrive, no delivery information, no reply to chase email, told they were too busy to reply immediately; then told that the shipment had mysteriously been lost but they had not told me. Replacement arrived three weeks later, nice products but except more service as they are not cheap"

D P. (3/5)

Super Spindola

"Does what it says brilliantly"

Jenny D. (5/5)

Great space saving device, love

"Great space saving device, love that it has a dual use. Had one of those great big salad spinners and it just got in the way."

Mrs L. (5/5)

Smooth Operation

"This is a fab item that can be used as a colander in the sink before anchoring and replacing the central plunger that activates the spin. The robust suction cup means virtually no effort is needed to activate the spin and no requirement to hold it down with the other hand. Sadly my sink has a central drain so it’s a logistical feat to anchor it to miss hitting the sink walls but I’m so impressed by the way it operates I’m happy to work around this. Additionally the holes are small and smooth so stems from finer salad like coriander and parsley don’t pop out and hinder the spin."

Elizabeth K. (5/5)

Great

"Easy to use and clean. I love it"

Lisa F. (5/5)

Poor quality

"We used the spindola only once and the bottom of the bowl chipped. I emailed Joseph Joseph with a picture of the issue and did not get a response. It was a very disappointing product and customer experience."

Fong C. (1/5)

Love it!

"The spindola is excellent so quick and easy. My salad dries much better than with normal spinners. Wish it was blue instead of green though I’m not a big fan of this green colour but it works so well and I store it in a cupboard."
