"I love my Joseph Joseph bowl, I have had it a few years, then it started to leak, was going to buy a new one, then by chance i realised that I could just by the plug, which i did. No more leaks. And saved a lot of money."
Expensive replacement plug?
"I was pleased to find that the plug could be replaced, but distinctly annoyed that it had worn out in the first place and that the replacements is the price of a less expensive bowl. It is an expensive bowl and I had expected that it would last the life of the bowl. Along with many others it seems, I have found that it does indeed leak significantly after a couple of years. Why can’t the worn bit just be replaced? Surely that would be a cheaper option? I am now moving away from draining the bowl through the plug - which rather defeats the objective of the bowl! This is the second item from JJ that has proven less than satisfactory in use, and in my view not what I would have expected. (The draining board with light grey rotating PLASTIC ’spikes’ was a disaster). I will be very wary about buying anything else from this manufacturer."
